silent heavens breath a few words,
a long stare into the lonely skies.
the mind boggles the troubled times,
i'm trapped in these troubled waters.
so many troubled souls down here;
prostitution of young black sisters,
teenage boys inside our own prisons,
a nation cursed by selfish demons.
episodes of gender transformation,
innocent images of God losing identity.
violent passion of love making,
resulting in unwanted babies.
silent heavens breath a few words,
a long stare into the lonely skies.
the mind boggles the troubled times,
i'm trapped in these troubled waters.
dark angels crawl our ghetto streets,
living in fear of our own shadows.
termination of young future leaders,
from our very own teenage abortions.
politicians running for parliamentary,
scores of our people going hungry.
i seek divine intervention on the horizon,
hope God hears my prayer at the break of dawn.
silent heavens breath a few words,
a long stare into the lonely skies.
the mind boggles the troubled times,
i'm trapped in these troubled waters.

somethings do last forever,
somethings were never meant to be.
vivid dreams scattered at bed side,
mind of a dreamer caught up in confusion.
mind addicted to fame and fortune,
it was lust for success at early prime.
who could ever tell the future,
misery on the cards dear dreamer?
silent thoughts creep the mind,
caught up in the deceased dreams.
mourn the fairy tale at dawn,
sunrise dries the fallen tears.
reflections on the mirror not so kind,
living life on the edge of misery?
somethings do last forever,
somethings were never meant to be.

low ride into the Soweto nights,
memories of my ghetto nights;
mind dusts the celebrity soil,
heritage to the living soul.
i walk the streets of fame,
driven by curiosity i blaze;
excited, trapped, lost in time,
i am dazzled by the Soweto nite.
morning comes to the heart's desire,
sunrise endures the kasi flavour;
it is a true feeling indeed,
to be part of such a heritage.
i switch on Radio Jakaranda,
is this my old man's station?
the station that played icons,
icons that stood the test of time.
kasi chicks flow galore,
beauty pleases the eye;
not too shy yet so sweet,
nature loving picture perfect.
i hear a squeaking sound;
i turn into a Gusheshe parade;
an O is drawn during daylight,
screams of joy set the mood.
low ride into the Soweto nights,
memories of my ghetto nights;
mind dusts the celebrity soil,
heritage to the living soul.

summer time ifikile,
sunny days of great vibe.
can u feel the scotching sun,
shorties wanna be divine.
i hear kasi car washes banging,
with a soul sound of music bragging.
a heat wave of dry winds,
catches the thirst for cold lagers.
swmming pools escalate with shorties,
a day to bask and maze, sweeties!
wot lovely days ahead,
more sunny days de blaze.
i luv summer time,
brings out more fire.
double up the beer cases,
bring out the cute faces.
summer time ifikile,
sizobona kuwe nawe,
xha ixhesha lifikile,
hayi summer time yizo lezo...

dear blog, it's me again
curves into my solitary world,
crossroads of uncertainty.
my mind is torn into pieces,
everyday i walk this earth.
heavenly Father bless this soul,
buried amongst the scars of hatred.
what do i fear the most?
the man i've become - i'm so confused.
i'm playing tunes of my misery,
isolated in the den of ruthless loneliness.
i'm having visions of my burial,
enemies keep stalking my grave.
poetry is what i live 4,
words from this disoriented pen.
i leave behind a legacy,
a naked path to all those who believe...
in the words from within.

judge me not - son of Africa.
it has been talent since birth.
the greatest passion - was my ambition.
forever tattooed in my heart, dreamer.
flip of an ocean wave - a story is told.
from early days of tumbling steps,
to the crystal days of freeway melodies.
the African soil has been good to me.
the setting sun, gentle sun-rays on my skin.
finest hour since childhood, such better days.
smile drawn on my face, such care-free moments.
o man...i was born at the right time...my word.
the careless walks down the kasi streets,
girls in their spring mini skirts.
such a blessing in the change of season.
God has truly been good to me.
